Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.
These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
