It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has achieved everything.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the pitchers that have represented Australia over five decades.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this triumph coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
